In 1998 I created this grand idea of forming a local
production company to showcase the wonderful talent that
Mobile, AL's underground had to offer. After several years’
contemplation, I decided to create a quasi- business entity
to produce artistic stuff for my friends. The name of the
company is Elliptic Curve Enterprises, Inc. (ECE) and I’ve
been running it via intense osmosis from my closet-of-a-
study in my house for the last seven years. I took the
convenient liberty of putting RolyPoly's debut CD on the
record label, Elliptic Curve Records (ECR). Following in
the same vein, I’m producing my book, Timberlane Dave,
through ECE as well. My ultimate goal, however, is to
provide production services to those local closet musicians,
writers, poets, photographers, artists, and more that are
struggling to disseminate their work to the masses. I know
first hand how aggravating it is to spend exponential
amounts of time and energy to produce something creative
only to have to step through disappointing hoops to get it
out there for people to see. ECE is still a vibrant work in
progress...
